Plant General Plant Description
My ID If you have created unique identifications for your plants, enter that in this field.
Subsp Defined by taxonomists; Considered the same species, a subspecies is a different but stable (viable) population of the species, often found growing in a different habitat.
Ploidy Allows you specify the number of sets of chromosomes an orchid has from a dropdown menu.
Variety Defined by taxonomists; not as great a variation as subspecies but a greater variation than "forma"; the term "variety" is often erroneously used to refer to horticultural forms.
Form "Forma"; typically, a minor color variation, such as "alba" and "aquinii" (peloric).  While this is a taxonomic term, it is most often used to refer to horticultural varieties created via selective breeding.
Cultivar Mericlone, an individual genetically-unique plant horticulturally grown.
Award Select the award and organization that awarded the orchid from a dropdown menu.
Color Select the primary color of the orchid from a dropdown menu.
Peloric Check this box if the petals mimic the shape of the lip
Fragrant Check this box if the orchid has a scent (ie chocolat scent)
Lip Select the color of the lip
Describe Enter your description of the orchid
Flower Season Click the season when your orchid blooms
Source Enter where you purchased the orchid (Click Add New when selecting a new vendor)
Date Enter the date you purchased the orchid
Price Enter the amount you paid for the Orchid
Culture Enter the information specific to your orchid's culture
Maturity Select from dropdown menu
Media Select from dropdown menu - Option to Add New type of media that you use
Temperature Select from dropdown menu
Sunlight Select from dropdown menu
Notes Enter your notes about how you grow the orchid
Container Select from dropdown menu - Option to Add New type of container
M.Grade Select media grade from dropdown menu
Fertilizer Select from dropdown menu
Humidity Select from dropdown menu
Location Select from dropdown menu - Option to Add New location
Repot every x Months Enter the number for frequency
Fertilize every x days Enter the number for frequency
Spray ever x days Enter the number for frequency
Water every x days Enter the number for frequency
Quantity Enter the number of plants for this orchid
Rest Period Check if your plant is in a rest period, not watering, fertilizing, spraying
