Considerable heat is required; it tolerates both shade and sunlight; requires liberal watering and good drainage with brick pieces; try a medium of 60%, bark, 20% peat moss, 10% redwood bark fiber, and 10% coarse perlite; normal fertilizing with 30-10-10; when growths are made up give a decided rest and dryness.
