Some orchids respond to touch: pterostylis (greenhoods) have a sensitive lip which reacts to touch. A72-802; Spiculaea has a hinged lip which is neither sensitive or irritable; while catasetums have a "trigger" mechanism which loosens the stipe of the pollinarium and shoots it out on touch.
