Flamingo Gardens April 2025 Speaker

Flamingo Gardens Orchid Society will meet Monday April 14 beginning at 7:30 pm in the Mary N. Porter Learning Center at Flamingo Gardens, 3750 South Flamingo Road, Davie where Claire Garrett, an award-winning member of the Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society, and Sandi Block-Brezner, an American Orchid Society Judge, will speak about their 2024 experiences on the "Rio Negro Orchid Adventure". They will give an overview of the many orchid specie that they observed in bloom in the Brazilian Amazon. For orchid enthusiasts who are new to the hobby or new to Flamingo Gardens Orchid Society, the Newbie Group meets prior to the FGOS meeting at 6:45 pm in the Learning Center for a 30-minute beginner level discussion about seasonal orchid topics.
