ORIGIN: Found in Pasco Peru on the upper slopes of the Cordillera oriental of the Andes at elevations of 2900 to 3000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing epiphyte with cane-like, branching, main stem much longer than the branches, subterete, slighyl sinuous stems carrying many on the main stem, 2 to 3 on each branch, suberect, articulate, coriaceous, linear-lanceolate, obtuse, minute apical apicule, apical margin crenate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, racemose, peduncle to .12” [3 mm] long, arching-nutant, .28” [7 mm] long overall, lax, simultaenosuly 7 flowered inflorescence with half as long as the ovary, linear-triangular, acuminate floral bracts and carrying resupinate, glabrous, cream colored flowers sometimes with red spots.
