ORIGIN: Found in Guerrero and Oaxaca states of Mexico in humid pine/oak forests, barranca forests and montane rainforests at elevations around 1300 to 2200 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a laterally compressed, slightly flexuous, , simple, cane-like, , generally arcuate from the weight of the leaves stems carrying 8 to 13, all along the stem, ovate-elliptic to elliptic, rounded, very succulent, pale green, , margin entire, brilliant green leaves that blooms in the spring through early fall on a terminal, occurring only once, subcorymbose, on a mature stem, erect, simultaneously 2 to 9, flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary, ovate, acute floral bracts and carrying nocturnall fragrant.
