ORIGIN: Found in Assam India, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, southern China, Vietnam and Java in humid, mossy, mixed and coniferous forests on mossy branches of old gnarled trees and primary highland cloud forests at elevations of 450 to 2500 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small to just medium sized, warm to cold growing, pendulous or drooping epiphyte with a curved, terete stem carrying many, linear-terete, unequally bi or tri-dentate apically, curved, channeled leaves that blooms on an axillary, suberect to drooping, 5 [12.5 cm] long, paniculate, densely many flowered inflorescence with small, acute floral bracts all carrying fragrant flowers occurring in the spring and summer.
