(around 20-25cm) Flowering season late spring / early summer (end of june / july) Flowers are up to 8 for each stem, 5 star shaped usually more or less curved backwards with 3 sharp petals and 2 little larger sepals . Colour is solid orange to brigh orange for all parts, with random little blood-red dots and dashes on the front and the back side. The lip is "trumpet-like" very pronounced, with a more or less wide opening at the end. It usually shows also a white shading on the inside upper part of the column. Average dimensions are 8 to 10 cm.
Culture: Mounted on cork with sphagnum moss is the best choice. Good climber, grows fast with warm climate, in summer needs frequent watering and fast drying with no water stagnation. Need high luminosity medium-warm climate and good ventilation to let the roots dry fast.
