Cym. atropurpureum

Description: This plant was sold to me as a grammatophyllum, which after inspection it was clearly not, and only a few months later was able to identify after it sent out this magnificent inflorescence with 25 flowers on it.

Culture: Growing outdoor in bright light with some full midday sun in a large plastic pot in a media of coco fibre chunks mixed with a small amount of other organic matter like worm casings. Fed regular aerated compost tea as well as soluble plant food.
