Description: Phalaenopsis bellina is a species found in parts of Malaysia and Borneo, growing in shady, humid, lowland and swampy riverine forests, often near or on branches overhanging stream banks at elevations up to 700 feet. This tetraploid (4N) strain of the clone Phal. bellina 'Chen', considered one of the best Phal. bellina, has been awarded an Award of Merit (AM) from the American Orchid Society and Silver Medal (SM) from the Taiwan Orchid Growers’ Association (TOGA)
