Gchls. japonicus

Description: Wonderful miniature species from Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Monopodial growth habit with blooms that arise from between the leaves. Flowers are yellow with mostly white cupped lips. The flowers hold a pleasant fragrance.

Culture: This plant is mounted on a cork slab with a little bit of sphagnum to help retain moisture. The mount is hung from a bench under 50% shade. I water the plant when the sphagnum is dry and fertilize weakly weekly with the majority of my collection.
