Peter Smithers and Den. infundibulum made by William Kirch and registered by Jones and Scully in 1979. The largest flower measures more than 4 inches across. The plant which is 34 inches tall was given an Award of Merit (AM) and Certificate of Cultural Merit (CCM) at the Aiea Orchid Show in 2018.
Culture: The plant is growing in a 6-inch clay pot with New Zealand sphagnum moss as the media. The plant is kept outside under 55% shade cloth. It is watered 2-3 times per week and fertilized weekly with Michigan State University formula fertilizer.
