Description: Spiranthes, as the name suggests, produces its beautiful little flowers in a spiral formation around its solitary flower spike.
Culture: Spiranthes australis grows naturally on our 1.2 hectare (3 acre) property. It flowers each December , and this year, another year of very heavy rainfall, we discovered ten plants growing in full sun in grassed areas of the property. It receives no special attention.
