Description: Small Cattleya Hybrid, Bifoliated, blooms 2 times per year, around First days of March (opens perfectly in time for women's day) and middle July from the latest bulb grown, it takes around 3 1/2 months from "new vegetation" to full bloom.
The plant is likely a mini-catt, bulbs are not bigger than 10 cm leaves included.
Very cute flowers small sized, around 5-6 cm maximum.
They comes directly out after the (second) leaf once opened without any protective sheat and blooms fastly.
Colour is all solid bright yellow for all parts of the flower except for a little bright green spot shaded red situated under the column, completely hide from labellum that's closed on the upper side, you have to look inside to see it.
This flower is NOT scented.
March flowers are bigger then july ones.
Culture: I grow it mounted on a wood support.
Summer season outside.
It needs good light, good ventilation, regular water and fertilization during the hot season, during winter, reduce the water maintaining a good lighting.
