   The Australian Orchid Nursery is advertising Burrageara Alkmaar for sale with a picture of a bloom nearly identical to the one you posted. https://www.australianorchids.com.au/products/burrageara-alkmaar-flowering-size-no-blooms-125mm-pot?variant=12245054095424 Maybe they can give you info on the cross? Alkmaar is a town in Holland (and the Netherlands does have Orchid breeders?). No hits in orchidroots.com other than the aforementioned Cymbidium.

   I have no idea what it is, though i did initially think the flower shape looked a bit like Laelia? But ive been in the hobby 3 months, so dont take my word on it. Either way its very beautiful!

   I'm guessing something with Onc. noezlianum in the background, like Oncidopsis Edna. What name did they give you?

      Thanks, Alex. The name given to me was Burrageara Alkmaar.

         There is a Cymbidium Alkmaar but the originator only hybridized cymbidiums so that does not give us a clue.

         Burrageara = Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum x Oncidium. It cannot be a new registration since for years nobody has been able to register anything as burrageara. However, it is confirmed that it has Onc. noezlianum since that used to be Cochlioda noezliana. It probably also has Onc. leucochilum. Hmm... that's a tough one.

            Thanks again, Alex. That's great information. The correct naming of this orchid might have to remain a mystery... My thought was that it has Miltoniopsis in its background too: the flower shape, size and count are similar to a Nelly Isler. Perhaps, this is some form of Oncidopsis.

               My best guess is that it is a cultivar of Oncostele Aloha Sparks. There is a photo on the web for a Burrageara Aloha Sparks 'Ruby Eyes' that is very similar. Aloha Sparks is a popular orchid and highly variable. Except that it was never called burrageara but instead it was once known as Vuylstekeara = Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum.
