Six points against commercialization: nursery-raised species only should be utilized; species should be sold as nursery-raised; nurseries in orchid areas should propagate with seed and not strip-collect; local nurseries should resist importation of jungle plants from abroad; tour organizers should stop catering to the lust of customers to collect on their trips; orchid seed banks should be established with Kew as the co-ordinator.
