In this section, we will discuss a common trick to use when we know parts of the orchid name but not the whole thing.  For example, let's say you are looking for Iwanagara [Iana.] Appleblossom which is now Jackfowlieara Appleblossom (Caulaelia Snowflake x Rhyncattleanthe Orange Nuggett).  The problem with this name and a lot of other names, is not knowing if it is spelled "Apple Blossom" or "Appleblossom".  However, there is a way that we can search for both.  Here's how:

First, from the start screen, click "Search Orchid":

Next, where it asks for the "Orchid Name", enter "apple".  Then, where it says "...also containing text", enter "blossom."  And finally, click Search, like this:

With the above search, it does not matter if there is a space in between or not.  These are the results of the search:

If you intend to do another orchid search, make sure to hit the button "Clear", so you don't forget you have something entered in the "...also containing text:" field.  I have done this mistake several times myself and it can be frustrating.
