Granite chips and polystyrene used as media; nitrates of potash, phosphorous, calcium and magnesium used in solution; plants in pots stand in troughs of nutrient solution; refer to OR70-353

Porous rock was placed in plastic pot bottom; nylon cord wick was led from pot bottom (one curl) to plastic bowl fertilizer below; pots filled with 50/50 vermiculite and perlite medium; fertilizer bowl is filled with solution with low nitrogen; old plant roots die in a month to be replaced by firm succulent ones; much more detail; refer to F74-98-f-; F75-12
