MITES, FALSE SPIDER: A Most Destructive Pest Smaller than the two-spotted mite, does not spin webs; not visible to the naked eye; reddish in color; cast white skins often present in great numbers is sign of -their presence; common ones are,Phalaenopsis mite, Privet mite; their feeding produces ye 1low spots which become sunken pits and scars which turn white or brown on both leaf surfaces; fleshy plants are most sensitive; use Dimite (best), Kelthane, chlorobenzilate, all of which can be mixed with Malathion or Sevin.
