The potting mix is never removed from the roots by Bianchi a leading cymbidium grower, who starts with a single bulb in a five-inch pot in a bark and peat mixture and continues on up to a ten-inch pot or tub or laundry basket slip-potting-on for up to ten years in the same mix, OA81-153
