ORIGIN: Found from the Leewards, Trinidad & Tobago, Windwards, French Guiana, Surinam, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil in rainforests as a small sized, pendant, hot to warm growing epiphyte that is found at elevations of 0 to 1000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Found from the Leewards, Trinidad & Tobago, Windwards, French Guiana, Surinam, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil in rainforests as a small sized, pendant, hot to warm growing epiphyte that is found at elevations of 0 to 1000 meters with unbranched to branching basally stems carrying close set, olive green, oblong lanceolate leaves held at a 90' angle to the stem by a clasping sheath and blooms in the winter through summer on an axillary, short single flowered inflorescence that appears at the upper leaf axils near the apex of the stem.
