ORIGIN: Found in Colombia and Ecuador in the coastal lowlands of the western slopes of the Andes at elevations around 250 to 1000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with branching, cane-like, terete, flexuous, thin stem branches short, scarce arising from the upper nodes of the main stem carrying 9 to 15, all along the stem, subcoriaceous, alternate, narrowly lanceolate, acute, mucronate, smooth, margin entire leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, racemose, subsessile, peduncle very short, terete, thin, rachis nearly totally hiddenby the much shorter than the vary, triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying successively 3 to 4, essentially no resupinate, one open at a time, green tepals and white lipped flowers..
