ORIGIN: Found in Oaxaca state of Mexico at elevations around 1400 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with an ascending to diffuse, terete, branched, cane-like, thin, straight stems carrying 2 to 3, towards the apex, articulate, distichous, subcoriaceous, narrowly lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, arising on a mature stem, occurring only once, racemose, arcuate-nutant, 1.2 to 2 [3 to 5 cm] long including the laterally compressed, straight, [1.6 to 2.6 cm] long peduncle, rachis zig-zag, subspherical, simultaneously 7 to 8 flowered inflorescence with prominent, almost as long as the ovary, narrowly triangular, acuminate, amplexicaul floral bracts.
