ORIGIN: Found in southern Colombia near the Ecuadorian border at elevations around 3000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cold growing, subcaespitose, pendent epiphyte with cane-like, short, arising from the basal internodes of the previous stem, terete, pendent, straight to slightly arching stems enveloped basally by tubular, non foliarinfundibular sheaths and carrying 7, along the apical half of the stem, alternate, articulate, somewhat succulent, narrowly lanceolate, acute, apically minutely ereose margin leaves that blooms on a terminal, racemose, short, peduncel short, laterally compressed, slightly ancipitous simultaneousl 8 to 9 flowered inflorescence with much shorter tha the ovary, narrowly lanceolate, acute, amplexicaul floral bracts and carrying in opposite pairs, non-resupinate, reddish white flowers.
