ORIGIN: Found in southern Ecuador along the Cordillera de Condor at elevations of 1400 to 1600 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with simple, cane-like, ancipitose, straight stems carrying 8 to 11, all along the stem, unequal, gradually larger above, narrowly elliptic, acuminate, margin entire leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, without a spathe, erect, racemose, peduncel ancipitous, sides parallel, nude, with a subapical, elliptic, obtuse bract, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with as long as the ovary, elliptic, obtuse, conduplicate, imbricate floral bracts and carrying flowers qith the sepals and petals olive green and the lip green.
