ORIGIN: Found in Bolivia on the Amazon slop of the Andesat elevations of 480 to 2600 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Giant sized, hot to cold growing terrestrial with simple, cane-like, terete, straight stems carrying numerous, all along the apical 2/3rds of the stem,, oblong-elliptic, coriaceous, smooth, rouned, unequally bilobed, margin entire leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on a terminal, racemose, elongate, peduncle elongate, terete, thin, enveloped almost completely by acute, tubular sheaths, rachis terete, producing other racemes in time, successively 5 to 6, 16 to 60 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary,linear-triangular, acuminate floral bracts and carrying resupinate, pink flowers with with yellow calli.
