ORIGIN: Found in southern Colombia in the high altitude scrub zone at elevations around 3300 to 3600 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with cane-like, very thin, erect, slightly flexuous, branching, branches in turn branching stems carrying all along the stem, conduplicate, coriaceous, narrowly lanceolate, subacute, apical margin slightly irregular, dorsal keel leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, terminal, short, racemose, arching-nutant, peduncle very short, terete, thin, rachis terete, thin, simultaneously 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary, avate, acute floral bracts and carrying resupinate, yellow flowers.
