DESCRIPTION: Medium to giant sized, hot growing, myrmecophilus epiphyte with simple, canelike, terete, straight stems carrying 15 to 20, all along the stem, articulate, distichous, coriaceous, lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, acute, miunutely apiculate, prominent central vein, margin entire leaves that blooms in the mid spring through summer on a terminal, erect, racemose to pluriracemose, nutant, short, peduncle, terete, straight, short, hidden by the 2 prominent, widely triangular, acuminate, amplexicaul bracts, 2.8 to 3.2 [7 to 8 cm] long, successively 9 to 18 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary, widely triangular, acute to acuminate, amplexicaul floral bracts. and carrying fleshy flowers.
