ORIGIN: Found in southern Ecuador without elevational data.
DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing epiphyte with simple, erect, cane-like, basally terete, laterally compressed above stems carrying 3 to 5, all along the stems, narrowly oblong, unequally bilobed, margin entire leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, with 2, tubular, conduplicate, narrow, acute spathes that cover almost all the erect, laterally flattened,, unornamented peduncle, rachis terete, slightly flexuous, somewhat arcuate, occurring only once, 7.12 [17.8 cm] long overall, simultaneously 11 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary, triangular, acuminate floral bracts and carrying resupinate, rose tinged flowers with a straw colored lip.
