ORIGIN: A pendant, medium sized, cold to warm growing epiphyte and lithophyte found in Assam India, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, China and Thailand in full sun on rocks or as an epiphyte in primary montane forests at 1200 to 1600 meters in elevation.

DESCRIPTION: A pendant, medium sized, cold to warm growing epiphyte and lithophyte found in Assam India, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, China and Thailand in full sun on rocks or as an epiphyte in primary montane forests at 1200 to 1600 meters in elevation with a long, leafy stem carrying rigid-coriaceous, arcuate or straight, channeled, linear-tapering, acuminate or acute, terete, dark green leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a simple or branched, axillary, to 2 1/2' [75 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with ovate-olliptic, obtuse bracts and has several to many [15 to 50] fragrant, color variable flowers.
