DAMP-OFF: Caused by Water Mold Pythium Ultimum
The enemy of community pot plantings; makes seedlings turn watery; spray pots with Physan Anti-Damp or Natriphene monthly; it also attacks mature plants; high humidity and high temperatures favor it; causes streaked, blackened tissues which exude water on pressing; cut out rot; soak plant in fungicide; let dry and treat with Tersan.
