SEEDS: Storage
A small amount of anhydrous calcium chloride is placed in the bottom of a screw-cap test tube, covered with cotton and the seeds placed on the cotton, the cap replaced and the tube placed in the vegetable crisper of a refrigerator; before sowing the tube is removed to room temperature for temperature equilibration to avoid condensation on the seed causing them to mold.
