RUSTS: Controls Captan and Ferbam are not used with official approval in combatting them, and to those can be added Fore/ Dithane for use on dendrobiums; some of the better ones, not yet legal are Bayleton, Triforine/Funginex and they might be worth looking for. AH86-70 0

RUSTS: Sphenosphora Kevorkianii, Etc. Found on Epid. tampense; small orange areas or pustules under the leaves; they turn black, are sometimes concentric; only the leaves are attacked; cut them off; try Plantvax-75W, or ferbam, or captan. B15; BU15 0
RUSTS: Sphenosphora Mera Attacks various orchids; on cycnoches it is found under the leaves as tiny raised cinnamon brown areas; when ruptured they spread spores; remove and burn plants; or spray with ferbam, or Plantvax 75W at 2% ttpg, monthly. B17; BU18 0

RUSTS: Uredo Epidendri Infrequently found in Florida on Oncid. cavendishianum; shows raised brown pustules with reddish border, first on the underside of leaves; destroy all plants showing infection; protectively spray other plants with ferbam at 1.5 ttpg weekly or Plantvax 75W at 2.5 ttpg.every thirty days. RUSTS: Uredo Nigropunctata Occurs infrequently in Florida; it forms conspicuous irregular orange and black pustules on both surfaces of the leaves; cut them off and destroy them; try ferbam at 1.5 ttpg. weekly, or Plantvax 75W at 2.5 ttpg. twice, 30 days apart, BU19 0
RUSTS: Uredo Oncidii Many plants are attacked; it produces powdery masses of yellow to yellow-orange spores; spreads easily; weakens plants; treat with a copper-containing fungicide, or Tersan; N319 (as Hemeleia americana); destroy the plant; spray all others with ferbam. BU61 0
