Odom's Fascination - an unusual orchid

I just stopped at Odom's Orchids today and found one of these with two spikes and a total of 12 buds. I decided to buy it and look forward to seeing all the flowers . Is this unusual for cattleya hybrids such as this?

    This Dendrobium has a lot of flowers. It has a lot of antelope type in the background. There are no awards to it or its parents which is a good way to predict what the flower looks like. Sounds great!
