Phalaenopsis

I acquired a bunch of orchids and I am learning--slowly.  I have been nursing this particular phalaenopsis and was happy to see new leaf growth over the past couple of weeks.  Today I found this black rot (?) on one of the new leaves.  Please help me identify the problem and teach me how to treat it.  Not sure if it matters but I live in northern Florida and I keep my plants outside.  I try not to over water but this almost looks like water sat on the leaf.

    I would trim that leaf back into clean tissue. I think that I am seeing a bit of wrinkling on that leaf in general. How often are you watering? Having spent 9 years living in SW Florida, Phalaenopsis can almost use daily watering. The wrinkles could be a sign that it is under watered.
