One And The Same?

General Discussion

by John Small

Are Epilc. Golden Sunburst and Eny. Golden Sunburst one and the same? I purchased a plant of Epilc. Golden Sunburst and I'm trying to discover the parentage of Epilc. Golden Sunburst. Any help will be greatyly appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Yes, they are the same. It was called Treyeranara, then Epilaeliocattleya and now Enanthleya. The parents are Encyclia rufa and Cattlianthe Gold Digger, which used to be Lc Gold Digger. I love rufa for it’s fragrance.
