70% strength applied directly kills scales, mealybugs, red spiders, aphids, thrips; it comes in a plastic container, is available in drugstores; a small hand sprayer can be attached to the container and used for spot application; buds of most popular genera can be treated without ill effect; other alcohols may cause damage.
