MOVING ORCHIDS: From Place to Place in a Greenhouse There are disadvantages to disturbing plants by moving them around; five rules apply: (in short) move it in the evening so it can adjust to morning light; always return them to their same position vis-a-vis their orientation after moving for inspection or watering, etc.; to move one is to affect the conditions of several; report all moves to anyone else using the greenhouse; the plant knows best and shows any effect of moving, so watch them. MOVING ORCHIDS: From State to State in the U.s. Moving especially into California requires that a health certificate be obtained from your own state Dept. of Agriculture plant inspector before crossing the state border. A73-338 0
