It is installed on the tap in front of the hose connection; it works well at a low-flow rate of water but the rate can vary from one to 12 to one to 20, depending on the resistance created by the length of hose and the strength of the water pressure; the manufacturer recommends full tap flow and attaching the unit at the spray, or flow outlet, end.
