SEEDLINGS: Culture For techniques and procedures, culture media, source of supplies, for tropical and terrestrial types, refer to OB11-243 0
SEEDLINGS: Cymbidiums Planted in Flats of Sphagnum Moss Moss is dead, obtained from Wisconsin, comes in bales of five cu.ft. and bought at florists' supply center; soak it in water, roll into bundles, place in flats, flatten with concrete block so it is firmly packed and about three inches deep; plant the seedlings. A64-762 0
SEEDLINGS: Growth Fast or slow as an indicator of flower quality?; sometimes a poor grower produces fine flowers; some of the best growers produce the best. A65-1003 0
SEEDLINGS: Phalaenopsis Flowering can be achieved in less than two years from flask through proper timing, deflask in winter or spring plant into large pots, feed frequently, grow in 40% of total light and water or syringe accordingly. SEEDLINGS: Treatment Their culture from flask to flowering, with considerable detail; refer to OD68-6+ 0
SEEDLINGS: Unbloomed Purchasers sometimes gamble that their chance of getting an award-winning plant from a batch of unbloomed seedlings is better on the theory that if it had already bloomed and was not sold it must have not been worth much; not always the case. A87-616 0
