Use it only if the light, which is toxic to plants, is shielded from them. A68-524 used for varying lengths of time = the wave-length of u.v. is harmful to plants; short periods have no effect; kind of light usable by plants begins at 425 millicrons and u.v. is 400 or less; fluorescent lamps are mercury lamps of a sort, color-corrected for plant growing.
