ORIGIN: Found in Costa Rica and Panama in tree tops at elevations of 550 to 900 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with simple, produced from the 1st or 2nd node from the base of the previous stem, cane-like, thin, very short, straight stem carrying 3 to 10, all along the stem, very fleshy, alternate, subterete, oblong-elliptic, subacute, entire margined leaves that blooms in the spring through late summer on a terminal, erect, occurring only once, racemose, laterally compressed, distichous, secund, rachis slightly zigzag, 7 to 10 flowered, inflorescence with towards the middle, 1 to 2 bracts similar to the longer than the ovary, basally amplexicaul, triangular, acute, with a high dorsal keel towards the apex floral bracts.
