ORIGIN: Found in Minas Gerais, Espriritu Santo, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo states of Brazil at elevations of 700 to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with very little available information but the plant has conic, slightly compressed pseudobulbs enveloped by imbricate, triangular-lanceolate sheaths and carying 2, linear-oblong to oblong to strap shaped, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect to somewhat nodding, 4 [10 cm] long, paniculate, few branched, few to several flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb and carrying scentless flowers.
