ORIGIN: Found in Thailand and Vietnam in primary, open, semi-deciduous, mixed and coniferous, mossy forests on karst limestone at elevations of 1200 to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, tufted, cool growing epiphyte and lithophytic orchid with densely arranged, nearly narrowly ovoid to ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, oblanceolate to narrowly elliptic-oblanceolate, papery, acuminate, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a compressed, narrowly winged, 4.4 to 10 [11 to 25 cm] long, laxly 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with narrolwy lanceolate floral bracts.
