ORIGIN: This mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphytic species hails from Ecuador at altitudes of 1800 to 2700 meters.

DESCRIPTION: This mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphytic species hails from Ecuador at altitudes of 1800 to 2700 meters and has slender, erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, thin, narrowly elliptic, subacute leaf that gradually narrows below into the indistinct petiolate base that blooms in the winter on an erect, lax, secund, 6 [15 cm] long, few to several flowered [4 to 6] inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with flowers that open simultaneously and are held well above the leaves.
