ORIGIN: Found in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in wet montane forests as a mini-miniature sized, cold to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 2400 to 2500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Found in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in wet montane forests as a mini-miniature sized, cold to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 2400 to 2500 meters with many branched rhizomes enveloped completely by evanescent, maroon sheaths and giving rise to small, light maroon, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect, linear, apiculate, carinate dorsally leaves that blooms in the summer on a basal, short to .4 [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
