ORIGIN: Found in Cundinarca and Norte de Santander departments of Colombia at elevations of 1200 to 1500 meters in cloud forests in heavy shade and high humidity.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovoid, compressed, pale green pseudobulbs and carries a single, apical, linear, pale green, acuminate leaf that blooms in the late summer and fall on an axillary, basal, 10 [25 cm] long, racemose inflorescence that is shorter than the leaves and carries 3 to 5, flat flowers.
