ORIGIN: Found in the eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Hainan China and Vietnam in valleys on trees at elevations around 400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped completely by leaf bearing sheaths carrying 5, unequal, uncurved leaves that blooms in the fall on a 6 to 7.2 [15 to 18 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
