ORIGIN: Found only in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 700 to 1100 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with spindle-shaped to ovoid, compressed pseudobulbs carrying two, apical, erect, elliptic, obtuse leaves that blooms in the spring on a 6 [15 cm] long, 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.
