ORIGIN: Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1150 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by a thin, tubular sheath below the middle and 2 shorter ones at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute, narrowly cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a loose, slender, strict, secund, up to 8 [to 20 cm] long including the 2.4 to 4 [6 to l0 cm] long peduncle, simultaenously few to several flowered inflorescence arising through a slender spathe from the apex of the ramicaul at the base of the leaf.
